Spies, Lies and Evan McMullin
Spies are taught one extremely important skill. This skill is by far the most important thing that they learn in their training. Simply put, they are taught to become liars. It's the nature of the beast, and in a world of terror and security concerns, it is understandable why spies are necessary. Make no mistake, I believe that we need to have spies on the front lines protecting our interests and our citizens.
As children, we are all taught to tell the truth. Lying is bad. I can't imagine a parent teaching a child that lying is a good quality or trait. Certainly religious leaders don't teach this as a quality or trait, but in fact, just the opposite. Lying and deceit are to be opposed at every turn. The government knew that this was a systemic problem for their spy programs. They would successfully be able to recruit psychopaths, but ordinary people who were trained to go out and just lie for a living? They knew there was a major disconnect between what the government needed and what the population at large was willing to compromise.
It was then that the OSS developed terms like, "trade-craft", and later. "pretext", instead of lying. After all, trade-craft was a skill that was learned and honed, just like surgery. It benefited mankind.
And so, we have former CIA operative and failed Presidential Candidate Evan McMullin. The man who stepped into the race at the last minute to save America from a Donald Trump Presidency. It was believed by McMullin and Mitt Romney that they could coerce the most conservative voter base in America, Utah, to give the electoral vote in that State, to McMullin, in hopes of stopping the Trump Train, thereby ensuring the election of Hillary Clinton. Only, the vast majority of Utah voters knew that this was nothing more that a ploy to usurp the power of the government from the people.
McMullin has stayed in the fray since his defeat. (What do we call it? It was a fraud, like all spy "trade-craft".) Most recently, he is caught in his own lie. On August 15, 2016, at 7:00 PM McMullin posted to Twitter, the following Tweet: "My role in the CIA was to go out & convince Al Qaeda operatives to instead work with us."
Seriously? He compromises national security with his Tweet? And second, he admits to colluding with the known enemy of The United States of America? (This isn't the point. I digress.)
On September 9, 2017, at 3:47 PM on Twitter, Max Abrahms Tweeted the following: "We relied on Al Qaeda types for regime change in Libya and Syria. Al Qaeda has been a feature not a bug of our policies."
McMullin was quick Tweet back within a short-time. "Are you suggesting that CIA is in cahoots with al-Qaeda? Do you actually teach your students the garbage at @Northeastern? My goodness."
Evan, you admitted to the world that you colluded with the enemy. You and you alone stated on the record that the CIA works hand in hand recruiting Al Qaeda to work for the CIA. Spies become pathological liars. That is a fact. It is bread into them. That's how the trade-craft works. It becomes natural, effortless and you don't even know you are doing this. McMullin should be questioned by the Senate Intelligence Committee in a closed session to get to the bottom of this policy that McMullin so proudly proclaimed a year ago.
McMullin and his type are the cancer that has so aggressively taken root in the government, and we must do all we can and oppose all who threaten the Liberty of this great nation and it's citizens.
