For thousands of years, countries have won wars by dividing their enemy.  Once an enemy has turned on itself, the war is all but over.  This strategy is studied at our military academies, in business school and law school.  Why?  Because it is one of the most successful tools one can use to bring an organization to its knees.

Donald Trump, according to mainstream media in a crisis.  Chuck Todd of NBC on Saturday’s broadcast went so far as to say that he gives it a fifty-fifty chance that Trump will even show up to the debate later this evening in St. Louis.  Chuck, come on!  It sounded like you were giving a eulogy at a funeral.  The sad thing is that Chuck Todd knows that the chance of Donald Trump showing up at tonight's debate is one hundred percent, and Trump’s camp confirmed that to us late Saturday night.

Furthermore, to Chuck Todd’s discredit, he didn’t tell the country that the most consistent poll in this election cycle has been the LA Times/USC Tracking poll which has Trump +3.  Trump actually went up in the LA Times/USC poll in the 24 hours since the eleven year old tape was released of Trump talking about women.  Friday Trump was +2.  Todd and NBC News refuses to acknowledge that that poll even exists.  They, however, love to use their online Monkey Survey poll.  It’s probably the least accurate of all polls taken.  

The media has churned up a firestorm out of old news.  Let’s face it.  In a decade, people change in so many ways.  Donald Trump today is not the same Donald Trump from eleven years ago.  What the press has done is allowed members of the GOP establishment, and those who have been told who they are not allowed to support, a clear exit to the doors.  Surly now, Reince Priebus won’t sanction a politician from refusing to support a person who used this language, will he?  You might be surprised sitting members of the GOP.

Hillary and Bill Clinton are among the most polished politicians of all time.  They can and have maneuvered their way out of so many scandals, sexual promiscuity, criminal activity, well, you name it, and they are using the media to divide the party.  

News flash Republicans.  You are doing what the establishment wants you to do, scatter for the hills and dig in.  Try and defend your little insignificant seat of power that you currently control.  But here is the danger and the genius of the Clinton’s plan.  They may succeed at defeating Donald Trump, but not because of this tape, which by Monday will have dissolved into obscurity with the press.  Why?  Because the voting electorate won’t be having it.  It won’t move Trump’s polls adversely for more than a few days, if at all.  They will be forced to move forward.  But your seats of power, a lot more will now be lost.  Clinton is counting on winning back the Senate in an attempt to shield her from potential more criminal probes, that under a Trump Administration will bring indictments.

The Congressman, Senators and Governors who have outright condemned Trump and pulled support from Trump will appear weak, unloyal to the party and as outright supporters of Hillary Clinton.

Congressman Jason Chaffetz, (R)  Utah, gave an interview in which he said, “It is some of the most abhorrent and offensive comments that you can possibly imagine.  My wife and I, we have a 15-year-old-daughter, and if I can’t look her in the eyes and tell her these things, I can’t endorse this candidate.”

Jason Chaffetz played football at BYU, we tracked down several of Chaffetz former teammates late Saturday night and asked them about his comments about pulling support from Trump.

A close friend of Chaffetz while on the team laughed and said, “That’s choice.  He better hope no one ever taped him.  There were times when he was no saint.”  Generalized comments were given to us but we will not publish these comments.  There is no reason to tarnish Mr. Chaffetz, but hypocrisy runs deep.  We illustrate this situation only to show that everyone is vulnerable.  Everyone has a stupid moment in their lives.  

Chaffetz seat is secure no matter what.  But a number of the seats up for reelection now will be lost because they were allowed to be compromised by Hillary Clinton and the media.   They fled the current leader of the party and headed for the hills.

Tonight as you watch the debate, you will see a more familiar Trump.  The Trump camp has told us that Trump will be more forceful and perhaps even the Trump from the primaries.  He has no intention of showing respect for Hillary.  He will call her out for the type of person who she really is.

One thing is for certain, the tapes that were provided by the Clinton campaign to the media will have little effect on the outcome of the presidential election, but it will wreak havoc among the seats of the House, Senate and some Governors.
