The Lessons From Donald Trump

The Lessons From Donald Trump
September 4, 2016

The unexpected whirlwind trip by Donald Trump to Mexico came as no shock to those of us who have followed every move of the Trump Campaign.  He has shocked us at every corner, so why would the press be so surprised to find out at midnight on the day of the visit.  The press corp had to scramble to get to Mexico City and then find out where the meetings were to take place.

Interestingly enough, when a Presidential Candidate makes a foreign trip they liason with the US State Department and Embassy so that they can receive insight on what the leader of the country would most likely say and how to best handle the visit.

Donald Trump continued to be the outsider that he is.  There was zero interest in talking to the State Department for pointers or even talking points.  With every move that he makes, he continues to show the American people, but most importantly those inside the beltway and foreign dignitaries that he is not politics as usual.  Remember the last president who was like this?  His name was Ronald Reagan..

With no help from professional politicians, Trump took to the world stage and looked Presidential.  Trump shocked the American media machine who has been mostly supportive of Hillary this election cycle.  All up and down the networks, they praised Trump for coming across as Presidential and beating expectations of his performance.  The American people themselves, whether they love Trump or hate him agreed overwhelming that he gave a strong performance.

So if the mainstream media and so many Americans, even foreign news services were praising Trump, then what about Hillary Clinton and her campaign attacking him?  Hillary Clinton said of Trumps trip to Mexico that he, “just failed his first test.”  Now where did that come from Hillary?  The foreign tests of Hillary Clinton, included destabilizing the Middle East.  That is on Clinton and Obama.  Apparently Libya is a huge success.  The Muslim Brotherhood whom Clinton and Obama loved, the entire time they were on the US terrorist list.  Syria, another victory for Hillary.  The Iran deal which Hillary pushed for so hard.  From a factual basis, Hillary Clinton is the real deal.  The real deal on not how to conduct foreign policy.  Hillary Clinton is a complete failure and total disaster.

It still infuriates me that our rapid response soldiers in Croatia who were suppose to go the Libya to save our people in Benghazi, had to change in and out of uniforms multiple times because Hillary Clinton was afraid of offending the terrorists who were slaughtering our men.  If you were labeled the Butcher of Benghazi, it probably wouldn’t be too far from the truth..

It was Hillary Clinton that order the JSOC to stand down.  Those soldier, most likely seal team 6 would have arrived in plenty of time to save at least half of those who fell.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if we could search the real records of the Clinton Foundation and see if there was money taken from The Muslim Brotherhood and the terrorists from Benghazi.  We might get an eye full.  We won’t see any help from the FBI or the Attorney General on that.  The Clintons have them in their back pocket.  At least for the time being.

Once again,Hillary does the only thing that she does well.  She lied.  Trump nailed it.

Why would President Enrique Nieto want to hold talks with both candidates?  Honestly he is seemingly not interested in Clinton.  He knows exactly what kind of a human being she is.  But, Tump.  He is very concerned about Mr.Trump. Nieto believes that he is going to win the election and he is very concerned about what policies on immigration the Trump administration will enact. Trump stated that the wall was talked about but not who would pay for it.

Nieto didn’t dispute that fact until Trump was out of his country for obvious reasons.  Trump told the truth.  The Trump campaigns statement that it was not a negotiation.  They even went so far as to say that negotiating that as a candidate would be highly inappropriate.   That is correct since they have no authority.

Nieto later tweeted that he told Trump Mexico would not pay for the wall.  Clinton’s team says that Trump won’t be able to make Mexico pay for the wall.  But either the Clinton campaign is stupid, and I am leaning more that way everyday, or they are once again doing the only thing that they do well, lie.

The fact is that Trump will not get Mexico to voluntarily pay for the wall.  However, there are plenty of ways that will force Mexico to pay for it.  But don’t despair because he seems to have a softening of the illegal issue, he hasn’t softened an inch.  Those that stay in this country illegally will have a major role in financing the wall.  I don’t want to spoil Donald’s secret, but stay tuned and you will see the plan and say wow, this man is brilliant.

His major speech on immigration had all of the networks and major papers scrambling to retract everything that they had said for the last week about him softening on his immigration reform act.  The major softening, they even went as far as saying that there won’t be people removed from the country.  One network, which I will spare them the indignity of their statement, actually went so far as to say he was now adopting Jeb Bush’s immigration plan.

In his speech, Trump reaffirmed that there is no path to legal citizenship for those who are in America illegally.  There is no path towards citizenship for illegal aliens in this country.  While the Democrats encourage criminal behavior, Donald Trump is saying it won’t happen on his watch.

And with the media’s decision to press forward for a week about his softening his stance on immigration, everyone realized that the wall just got ten feet higher.

What we have seen from Donald J. Trump is that he is a candidate for law and order.  He does not excuse criminal behavior.  Sanctuary cities, he promised, will have all federal funding pulled from them until the follow the laws of the land.

Unlike the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton, there shall be no excuse for criminal activity on Trump’s watch.
