Let’s Be Honest!  It’s about the WikiLeaks Dump!

Most of us by now have heard the illegal recording of Donald Trump talking about women with Billy Bush of Access Hollywood.  The operative word is illegal.  The media is spinning it as a hot mic for the simple fact that Trump could potentially, and very likely will sue for the acquisition and distribution of a private conversation recorded without his knowledge and consent.  But let’s not digress.

Mr. Trump’s words were shocking, and as a father and husband, they were disconcerting to say the least.  But then, I analyzed the conversation and what the context of that converstation actually is.  (See Dad, half a billion dollars to an Ivy League school really can pay off!)  

Before the rest of you make the same foolish knee jerk reactions as Speaker Paul Ryan (R) from Wisconsin, or Congressman Jasen Chaffetz (R) from Utah, or the Governor of the State of Utah, Gary Herbert, and others, look at it in context.

First, he was with Hollywood people, on a Hollywood bus, talking to a Hollywood crowd.  For those of us who spent years working in senior levels in Hollywood, this type of talk is commonplace.  Need I remind the puritans out there of the casting couch?  (Um, this won’t score me points with my Hollywood friends, but it still exists).  It’s Hollywood who objectifies women and makes them victims of this sort of behavior.  Nude scenes, sex scenes, lines that make Russian sailors blush.  That’s Hollywood.  

Then there is us.  The average viewer.  Now I know that this is not a blanket indictment of everyone in America, but someone is purchasing tickets to see nudes movie stars.  So with those facts in mind, let’s everyone calm down.  

In the movie industry, that type of talk is common with everyone at every level of the industry.  I am not making excuses for Trump, but he was in the environment and he was playing the role.  By no means do I endorse, condone or even excuse this type of behavior and language.  I hold women in the highest esteem.  But every person out there who purchase tickets to films that are laden with sexuality inuendo and nudity are equally as guilty for deeming women.  

The media who is actually campaigning for Hillary, in case you haven’t been made aware, ate up this latest Trump scandal.  The man has so few.  In a few days, David Muir and Lester Holt (I won’t waste my time on MSNBC or CNN to call them out individually) will be back on Trump’s taxes because this won’t have a long term effect.  

According to a senior source at The Clinton Campaign, they have had this recording since the first part of August.  When they realized that Julian Assange had more emails, and possibly the 33,000 emails that Hillary deleted, they found this and have held onto it for the perfect moment.  That moment was yesterday.

Assange dumped 2,000 emails.  The Clinton camp panicked and believed that this was the dump that Assange was hinting at.  The campaigns mistake was not verifying what was in those emails.  Instead, the video was released, and everyone has talked about nothing except some obscure rain storm off of the eastern seaboard and this massive leaked tape that will, according to the news media, end Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.  Only one problem, Clinton did what a bunch of republican elected officials did, they knee jerked in their reaction.  This was a dump, mostly of irrelevant items.  Assange allowed the Clintons to play into his hand.  They did.

Clinton will need to scramble now to find something even remotely close this magnitude for when the actual dump is comes.  Assange has assured us that it is coming.  

Remember folks, this election is about something very important.  This election is about the freedoms and principles that this nation was founded on.  Hillary Clinton is a liar.  Fact.  Hillary Clinton attempted to destroy all of the women’s lives that Bill Clinton had affairs with.  Fact.  Hillary Clinton allowed four Americans to be slaughtered in Benghazi.  Fact.  Hillary Clinton rigged the Democrats primary.  Fact.  Hillary Clinton call black men predators.  Fact.  Hillary Clinton violated the espionage act at least 14 times.  Fact.  That single act, under the law, actually disqualifies Hillary from ever being president. Fact.  Hillary Clinton supported a terrorist organization and helped them take over the Egyptian government, Egyptian Brotherhood.  Fact.  Hillary Clinton started the war in Syria.  Fact.  Hillary Clinton destabilized the entire middle east.  Fact.  

So Republican leaders, grow up.  Everyone of you has dirt that can be easily dug up.   Not one of you is exempt.  Remember this, if you pull your support for Trump, then you are supporting and electing Hillary Clinton, and I am afraid, that the fallout for down ticket candidates, from your decisions to not support him will be catastrophic for the nation.  Ignore Ted Cruz, who only cares about himself and political opportunism and Senator Mike Lee  Mr. Lee, to coin a phrase from Jim Rome, “Shut your Pie Hole.”

Let’s all show some forgiveness and compassion to Trump who made a comment over a decade ago and not give a pass to perhaps the head of the largest criminal enterprise in the history of the country.  Wake up and push forward by supporting Donald Trump all the way to the White House!  The very future of this nation depends on it.
