The Dishonest Politics of Bernie Sanders

The Dishonest Politics of Bernie Sanders
September 6, 2016

The closest that arguably one of America’s most beloved television characters, Charles Montgomery Burns from The Simpsons, will ever come to being elected President of The United States, was in fact Bernie Sanders.  And for all of the huff and puff of his campaign, red face included, (Honestly, how many times did each of us cling with rapt fascination to the tube while he would be screaming about big Wall Street money, and his head go bright red, wondering if this would be the moment that he would have a stroke?  Honestly the suspense nearly killed all of us!) Bernie turned out to be exactly what he claimed he wasn’t, big money, big Wall Street.

In the end, Sanders actually turned out to be C. Montgomery Burns in the flesh.  Many of my friends who loved the pseudo Sanders are still screaming, “Say it ain’t so, Joe!”  (I mean Bernie.)  One very close friend of my said that Bernie really did put the burn into his campaign.  He burned his supporters.  Many of whom donated an average of $27.00 or so we have be told by the Burnmiester himself.

Let’s recap some of his highlights shall we?  In October 2015, at the DNC debate, Senator Sanders said of Hillary’s emails.  “The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails.”  My phone lit up from people in disbelief.  All of the questions can be summed up in these sentences.  “Did he really just say that?”  “Is he trying to lose the campaign?”  “Is he senile?”

That question made me take pause and contemplate.  I spent many years in several top tier Universities, studying political science.  To me, this wasn’t so much a throw the election move, as it was a planted response.  I had to ask myself if the Clinton machine was doing what they do better than anyone in the history of politics?  Spin the American people.

Was he actually helping Hillary Clinton win the nomination?  What better way to take the heat off of Clinton’s continual lying about her emails?  Have a legitimate candidate cast the issue aside like some used rag doll.  The fact is that any legitimate candidate would have pound her into dust over her emails, violating the espionage act, not being able to ever hold a any type of clearance to have access to any classified material.

The woman who put countless American lives at risk for who knows what reason, unless it has something to do with pay to play politics and the Clinton Foundation.  He let her go.  From that moment on, he ran a spirited campaign, said all of the things that his supporters wanted to hear, and could have easily upset Hillary.

At the end of the campaign the same weird situation happened.  On NBC News Sunday morning show, “Meet The Press with Chuck Todd”, he was pressed on the email leak and would he pull his support  for Clinton over what was an obviously rigged election?  Bernie made a statement even more troubling than his debate answer.  “No, no, no.  We are going to do everything we can to protect working families.  What a campaign is about is not Hillary Clinton; it’s not about Donald Trump.  It’s about the people of this country.”

That statement screams coverup.  Any candidate who actually was attempting to win the election against Hillary Clinton would have gone nuclear at the convention.  He could would have dashed her vessel into tiny splinters and we would have had Bernie and some other basement dweller as his VP.  This was not the case.

Was Bernie a mole for the moment he announced his candidacy?  The entire thing screamed of Loretta Lynch hooking up with Bill Clinton on the tarmac in Phoenix for a chat about correcting Loretta’s golf swing or whatever, and not Hillary’s impending indictment.  Facts are stubborn things and the facts about Bernie Sanders is that he rolled over and did not protect the American worker from the big bad Wall Street boys.  Instead, he embraced them the entire time and allowed an election to be stolen from the Bernie Sanders supporters.  Not from Sanders himself, because his actual commitment to winning wasn’t there.  He threw the election from day one.  This borderlines election fraud.

Bernie instead is only interested, as is Clinton and the media, first, with pinning the DNC hack on Trump.  Not that they rigged the election.  They couldn’t do that, because the facts were that he was blindsided like the rest of the nation.  They have time and time again pinned it on the Russian Government acting at Trump’s behest.  Once again, that’s a lie that didn’t hold up for more than 48 hours.  And if Russia was going to go after anyone, it would be Donald Trump.

Remember when Hillary hit the reset button for Vladimir Putin?  He is controlled by the Clinton’s.  Vladimir owes the Clinton’s a debt for that reboot.  He owes Trump nothing.

Back to Bernie.  Shortly after the convention, Bernie and his wife bought their third home on a lake in Vermont.  They reportedly paid cash for the home with a price tag of nearly $600,000.00.  I know that most of us can’t live in three homes.  We need more, however, once again, his actions scream big money and not the pitbull attitude that he had while on the campaign trail.  If you're a politician, then the facts are that big money is where your heart lies.  The darling of Wall Street Hillary Clinton wasn’t good enough to be the President when he was running because of all of her Wall Street connections and friends.

Now she is?  Bernie, were you offered a position on her cabinet?  Curious minds want the truth.  We can’t ask Hillary because she is incapable of telling the truth.

For the Sanders supporters out there, you are in a tight spot.  Who do you vote for?  Well, if you hold true to your principles, then you can’t vote for Hillary.  Bernie’s candidate is the candidate of big money.  All of the big money in America has run to Hillary for protection.  Donald Trump can’t even get the Koch Brothers to fund him.  That tells you who is going to protect the rich and who is going to protect the middle class and the poor.

The one certain fact in this entire political cycle is that person is not, and never has been Bernie Sanders.
