Trump, His Taxes And The Truth

Hillary Clinton today in an interview implied that Republican Presidential Nominee Donald J. Trump has something to hide by not releasing his tax returns during an audit. She continued and insinuated that they had a pretty good idea of what it was he was hiding.

When a person has ten billion dollars, they can afford the very best legal team on the planet. There is not a rationally thinking human being in America who believes for a second that Donald Trump has made this decision on his own. Not a chance. He hired a legal team who handles these matters and it is his legal team who has advised, in the strongest possible terms, that he does not release the records. Audits in and of themselves are problematic to begin with. Can you imagine the conjecture that would take place if they were released during this audit, in this election cycle?

Professional tax attorneys always will give the same advice, don’t release any information until the audit is over. Besides, taxes say very little anyway. It’s the financial disclosures that mean the most. Trump released his over a year ago.

As Hillary Clinton has insinuated that the tax issue creates a real concern to the American public over his ability to lead this nation, it’s the only issue that she can challenge Trump on. He doesn’t have scandal in his life.

The more important question Hillary should be answering are the questions about her emails, email servers and blackberries.
